CraftQuote + Proof: photos, videos and evidence

When you use Proof, CraftQuote processes uploaded site photos and videos, area labels, notes, timestamps, file hashes, acknowledgements and evidence history. These records document conditions before, during and after work and support evidence reports.

Evidence storage and sharing

Proof supports private S3-compatible object storage; older files may remain in the database. Access is provided through the signed-in account or a private customer link. Anyone who receives that link can see the Before and After evidence shared through it. Internal During evidence is not shared through public quote links. Existing Proof archives remain readable after a plan downgrade; cancelling a subscription does not automatically delete them.

Optional AI analysis

When an AI inspection or Before/After comparison is triggered, CraftQuote sends the relevant images to the OpenAI API. Image inspection also sends the phase, area label and contractor note. Results are saved with the evidence. AI findings can be inaccurate and do not replace professional or legal assessment. Upload only necessary content and avoid unnecessary personal information.

Email delivery

Resend is used for transactional emails such as password resets. The recipient address and the content of the relevant message are processed for delivery.
